Arrow of Light

Congratulations again to the 5 Webelos who earned their Arrow of Light at the Blue & Gold last month. Great Job by all five – Michael Kariuki, Harrison Huntley, Sean Leonhard, Joshua Seifert & Nicholas Teder!!! For those bridging to Boy Scouts tonight – Good Luck !!

Jordan Lake Family Campout

The Family camping trip to Jordan Lake is the weekend of 28^th-29^th. If you haven’t already signed up and wish to attend, please do so tonight. The last day to sign up and pay is Tuesday April 24^th(Pack Meeting). The cost will be $8 per person which will cover the food from Lunch Saturday through Breakfast Sunday. If you’re not staying the full period, the price is reduced – see the signup sheet. For anyone interested, they can camp Friday night also, just let me know. Full details are on the website and/or the flyers.

Pinewood Derby

Pack 201 competed in the district Pinewood Derby on March 3^rd.There were 168 Scouts all together – talk about controlled chaos! Unfortunately we didn’t have any award winners this year – we’ll have to get em next year!! Thanks to Howard Henry & Jacqueline Kariuki for helping me fill the volunteer positions.

Fun Events

We had about 17 Scouts, siblings & potential scouts attend the “Pump it Up” on Mar. 20^th. The next event is the Durham Bulls game on April 22^nd. Tickets are $7 per seat. The Pack will cover the cost for the Scouts. Please sign up and pay tonight if you plan to attend.

Recharter

We have completed the Recharter process. If you have not rechartered your boy, you will need to re-apply in order to continue to participate in Cub Scouts. If you have a younger boy who would like to be in the Tiger den next year, please fill out the application and an Adult application. The fee is $40 for the year. If you know of any boys that might be interested in joining Pack 201, have them contact me or bring them to a meeting or Fun Event!
